View this email in your browser Happy July! We hope you had a wonderful 4th of July celebration! We are so blessed to live in a country with so many freedoms and even more thankful to have freedom through Jesus Christ. "For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don't use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead use your freedom to serve one another in love." Galatians 5:13 July means half of 2021 has already passed, but we still have six months left to make a difference in the lives of the people around us. We have the amazing opportunity to serve the people in our lives through the freedom with have in Jesus Christ. Let's take advantage of that!  Trip to Chiapas Paul, Judy, Matt and Kari recently had a busy trip to Chiapas visiting churches, pastors and a few other ministries. During their trip, they visited Pastor Carlos and Barbara, Casa de Esperanza, Pastor Alex and his family in Chenalhó, a few churches outside of Chenalhó and Casa Hogar Alegre. It was so exciting to be back in Chiapas. We have a lot of new updates coming soon about different projects taking place in Chiapas, so be sure to keep up with our newsletters!  Sow What You Have Paul and Judy had the privilege of visiting a church outside of Chenalhó on their most recent visit to Chiapas. This church, like many others, has outgrown its building. That in itself is worth celebrating! The church is currently working on expanding their building but is struggling to finish the project. While Paul and Judy were with the pastor, they told him that they would send money to help finish the expansion project. The pastor and church members were so appreciative that they gifted Paul and Judy two live roosters! "This was the best they had to sow, and God will bless them for their sacrifice. Sow what you have. Money, time, talent or roosters" -Judy Pogue "Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." 2 Corinthians 9:6 What an important reminder to sow what you have into the kingdom of God, no matter the size or amount.  New Expansion Project Below are current pictures of the church mentioned above. This church has tripled in size since it's opening! We are so excited to be a part of this expansion project and help the ministry in Chiapas continue to grow and spread Christ's love. Even in the midst of a pandemic and all of the struggles that the people of Chiapas have faced, the church is still growing and more people are coming to know Jesus Christ!  If you would like to give towards our next church builds, click the link below.  Donate to Church Builds Hope for the Future Although we have not been able to be in Mexico physically over the last few months, our efforts to support the people and the mission of our organization have not stopped.
