View this email in your browser It's June, which means we are one month closer to having teams on the ground in Chiapas! Due to the pandemic, we have not been able to host a team in Chiapas for a while, but we are overly excited to return and see what God has done and will continue to do in Chiapas. Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to continue supporting the local orphanage, Casa Hogar Alegre, the clinic in Tuxtla, the widows at Casa de Esperanza, the local pastor, and we've been able to fund the building of multiple churches. In addition to all of these things, we have just completed building homes for three families in Tuxtla, are installing a roof on a large church and are adding on a kitchen to the large church in Tsavalo.  Psalms 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble". God has been our strength through this season of uncertainty and has helped us continue to help the people of Chiapas, even from far away. Remember to trust in Him and allow Him to carry you through the season that you are walking through!  Trip to Chiapas Just a few weeks ago, Paul and Matt were able to visit Chiapas! It was so great to be back and see all of our friends and family there. Paul and Matt were able to visit the orphanage, Casa Hogar Alegre, see the new homes that were built, meet our newest guests at Casa de Esperanza, and visit the mountains of Chenalhó. We are thankful that we are able to travel again and return to what we love and are called to do! Everyone in Chiapas is doing well and the Word of God continues to be shared through all of our ministry outlets.  The Homes Have Been Built! While Paul and Matt where in Chiapas, they were able to visit the homes that were just completed for some of the families that were evicted from their homes just before Christmas. Pogue Family Missions has purchased land and helped fund the building of homes for three families. These families have felt so blessed and thankful to have a place to live after the eviction. Your donations have helped give them hope and have shown them the love of Jesus. Thank you for your donations and support for this project! Donate towards Tuxtla Casitas Casa de Esperanza: Meet Brenda! We are so blessed to welcome Brenda and her son as our newest guests at Casa de Esperanza! Brenda is a young, 19-year-old girl that comes from an abusive home. She has been apart of a home group with other members of Torre Fuerte. When she ran away from home, her home group guided her to Casa de Esperanza. She arrived just in time to meet Paul and Matt while they were on their trip in Chiapas. Please pray for Brenda, her son and the team at Casa de Esperanza as they work to discover hope and find healing through Jesus Christ!  If you would like to give toward Casa de Esperanza, click the link below. Donate towards Casa de Esperanza Hope for the Future Although we have not been able to be in Mexico physically over the last few months, our efforts to support the people and the mission of our organization have not stopped.
