Can you believe it's already March? This year is going by quickly but we have already seen God moving in the lives of people in Chiapas and we are so excited to see what He has for us in the coming months. Read below to hear an update on the Tuxtla Casita project and how you can help bring hope to the people of Chiapas.
Let's Build Some Homes!
Just days before Christmas, over 200 families were evicted from their homes. Torre Fuerte had been hosting weekly kids programs and given food and household supplies to the people living in this community. We spent some time with Pastor Carlos and asked him to share the story of what has happened in this community, where the people are now, and what they hope to do for these families.
Last month, we set a goal to raise $49,000 to cover the cost of land and 4 casitas, or small homes. Thanks to you, we have been able to raise $27,700! Two of the homes have been completed and given to the families that will live there. They are so excited and blessed to have a place to call home.

We know that with your help we can provide shelter to these families!
Although we have not been able to be in Mexico physically over the last few months, our efforts to support the people and the mission of our organization have not stopped. Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to continue supporting the local orphanage, Casa Hogar Alegre, the clinic in Tuxtla, the widows at Casa de Esperanza, the local pastor, and we've been able to fund the building of four churches. We are looking forward to returning soon and continuing to be a part of the ministry taking place in Mexico. Our calendar is beginning to fill up with trips for 2021 and we are so excited for teams to be able to return!
